It’s weird how the dry season starts in September nowadays!
It is beautiful weather right now in Bali and we have quite a weekend coming our way, with famed underground electronic merchants, Adana Twins tonight at Red Ruby and tomorrow, banging melodic techno chief, Aaron Hibell is at El Kabron. Maybe the High Season has also moved to September, who can say, but I do have a feeling things are looking up from here and now!

Last Friday, after some fun Djing at another Gil house party to farewell his daughty, Marina, we were at Red Ruby. It was a massive night with the Bloodmoon Ritual. They definitely have a style about them, Satie and his friends. They bring their dark, almost sinister, but eye-catching BDSM style to the dance floor and what’s better for the nightlife than that, I ask. Saturday we were at the W’s outdoor show with the UK’s TMPLE, which was pretty chilled and perfect for an aftermath of Friday night. They played and sung some great music, which everyone seemed to be enjoying. Watch out for the W’s next gig on Sunday September 20 with Jody Wisternoff spinning a set of his much loved melodic organic stuff. That should be a good one.
